The Horatio Alger Association of Canada’s 7th Annual Excellence Gala celebrates Canadian talent, culture and the next generation of leaders.
The Gala will shine a spotlight on the Horatio Alger Association of Canada’s 2025 Scholars, and the achievements of the 2025 International Horatio Alger Award Recipients, who have persevered through adversity.
Each year, the Horatio Alger Association of Canada awards scholarships to deserving students in financial need who have overcome significant adversity while demonstrating strength of character, and a commitment to contributing to society through pursuing higher education.
The funds from the Gala will be used to expand our scholarship program and support the next generation of leaders in Canada.
Canada has a rich history shaped by individuals who embraced the principles of hard work, honesty, determination, and resilience in the face of challenges. Each year, the International Horatio Alger Award, accompanied by a lifetime membership in the Association, is bestowed upon remarkable Canadians who have achieved significant success despite facing personal and professional obstacles.
