The Horatio Alger Association of Canada annually awards 290 scholarships to deserving students in financial need who have overcome significant adversity while demonstrating strength of character, strong academics, a commitment to pursuing higher education as well as a desire to contribute to society.

Since the start of our Canadian scholarship programs in 2012, the association has awarded more than $15 million to over 2,000 students. The current endowment fund is valued at $24.5 million.

Through fundraising opportunities like the Excellence Gala, the Horatio Alger Association of Canada has greatly expanded its scholarship program and will continue to do so in the future.
